INHALATIONS

Treatable pathologies: Chronic diseases of the nose, throat, bronchi

Methodology : Inhalations are performed using a direct, individual, warm, humid jet. The initial jet, striking spiral filters, loses the larger aqueous particles and decreases in temperature at the outlet mouthpiece. A dense mist of aqueous particles is obtained at a temperature of approximately 38°C. The larger particles settle on the mucous membranes of the nasopharynx and larynx, causing a cleansing and stimulating action on the mucous membranes of the upper airways, the same passages that suffer the greatest damage from the inhalation of dust and environmental smog, smoke, cold air, and inhaled microbes. How to perform: The patient stands with their mouth open at the same level as the jet, at a distance of approximately 10-20 centimeters.

Duration : Up to 14 minutes. (The quantity is prescribed in liters.)
